NWEES Kano 2.0 will focus on the ways and means of tapping the opportunities that await women business captains in northern Nigeria.
We invite you to the Northern Women Economic Empowerment Summit – NWEES Kano 2.0. The summit is organised by New Faces New Voices-Nigeria, a network under the Graca Machel Trust which comprises Women in Finance, Business/Trade, Agriculture and Media. UPS supports it.
The theme: Empowering Women Entrepreneurs: A Panacea for poverty reduction and job creation in Northwest Nigeria (Practical Appraisal)
The hybrid summit, live in Kano State – Nigeria, will focus on women entrepreneurs and how they can scale their various businesses by having access to finance and markets.
Date: Tuesday and Wednesday, November 29 and 30, 2022
Venue: Amani Event Center, Tamandu Road, Close to Prince Hotel, Nassarawa GRA, Kano

Background
Following the successful conduct of the first Northern Women Economic Empowerment Summit (NWEES) on November 28, 2021, there has been a hue and cry for the Resolutions and Recommendations passed at the end of the splendid congregation to be implemented.
Since the last summit afforded women entrepreneurs in the Northwest Region the opportunity to get exposed to abundant potentialities that await them in the various agencies of the federal government and other local and global development agencies, NWEES Kano 2.0 would principally focus on ways and means of tapping on these opportunities that await the women business captains.
